PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE Lebanon VA Medical Center THIS IS A BRAND NAME OR EQUIVALENT REQUIREMENT Title of Project: Chest/Dipping Commercial Cabinet Freezers Scope of Work: The vendor shall provide all resources necessary to accomplish the deliverables described in this statement of need (SON), except as may otherwise be specified. Contractor shall provide: Two Cabinet freezers equivalent to the discontinued model, True THDC-4, deliverable to the Lebanon VA Medical Center (LVAMC) within sixty (60) days of contract award. One Cabinet freezer equivalent to the discontinued model, True TFM-51AL, deliverable to the LVAMC within sixty (60) days of contract award. One Cabinet freezer equivalent to the discontinued model, True TFM-41AL, deliverable to the LVAMC within sixty (60) days of contract award Background: The LVAMC Nutrition and Food Service (NFS) requires replacement of four chest/dipping commercial cabinet freezers. Performance Period: Delivery shall occur within sixty (60) days of contract receipt. Type of Contract: Firm Fixed Price Delivery Order. General Requirement: The LVAMC has a need for four chest/dipping commercial cabinet freezers as defined below. This is a brand name equivalent request. The brand name and model numbers are: True THDC-4 (Two Each), True TFM-51AL (One Each) and True TFM-41AL (One Each). The aforementioned brand name models are no longer available. Refer to included descriptive literature P02 Specification True as prescribed in FAR Provision 52.211-6(b)(3). Freezer One (Two Each) Technical specifications A Equivalent to True THDC-4 Horizontal Dipping Cabinet (Discontinued Model). Refer to included THDC-4 Specification Sheet. B Required technical specifications: Industrial/commercial freezer Electrical Connection 115V, 60 Cycle, 1 Phase, 15 Amp Cold wall refrigeration Dual access removable lids Maintains temperature between -10 º F to +8 º F Must include casters For maintenance purposes condensing unit must be easily accessible Accessible drain valve Freezer Two (One Each) Technical specifications A Equivalent to True TFM-51AL Horizontal Freezer (Discontinued Model). Refer to included TFM-51AL Specification Sheet. B Required technical specifications: Industrial/commercial freezer Electrical Connection 115V, 60 Cycle, 1 Phase, 15 Amp Cold wall refrigeration Glass sliding lids Maintains temperature lower than or equal to -10 º F Must include casters For maintenance purposes condensing unit must be easily accessible Accessible drain valve Interior capacity 13 cubic feet Freezer Three (One Each) Technical specifications A Equivalent to True TFM-41AL Horizontal Freezer (Discontinued Model). Refer to included TFM-41AL Specification Sheet. B Required technical specifications: Industrial/commercial freezer Electrical Connection 115V, 60 Cycle, 1 Phase, 15 Amp Cold wall refrigeration Glass sliding lids Maintains temperature lower than or equal to -10 º F Must include casters For maintenance purposes condensing unit must be easily accessible Accessible drain valve Interior capacity 10 cubic feet The contractor shall provide the operation manual, schematics, set-up instructions, maintenance standards and any other applicable documents/manuals. At a minimum all above documentation must be written in English and in hard copy. Warranty: The contractor shall warrant all freezers for a period of at least one year to include parts, labor, travel and any other associated repair expenses. All associated warrantied repair costs will be borne solely by the contractor at no additional cost to the U.S. Government. The warranty will also include unlimited telephone/e-mail support.
