Description
How to do business with FEMA Pamphlet Learn Disaster Business Opportunities and FEMA Registration Process Date: Monday, July 17th, 2017 Time: 1:00pm-3:00pm eastern time Teleconference: 1-800-320-4330 Passcode: 795068 In preparation for this year's hurricane season, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Region IV Mission Support Division-Contracting, is educating suppliers seeking on how to do business with FEMA. Shelter is a high priority following a natural disaster and FEMA wants to ensure that manufacturers of mobile homes, retailers, commerical parks owners, installers, transporters, service providers and supply firms are ready to respond immediately to FEMA's request for proposals to provide temporary housing and ancilliary services. FEMA's goal is to seek local companies within (Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, South Carolina and Kentucky) within the disaster area for goods and related to a specific disaster when practical and feasible. In order to do business with FEMA a business must be registered with the federal government. The purpose of the FEMA Teleconference is to discuss disaster business opportunities available through FEMA and educate vendors through the process of registering your business with the federal government. Registering your business with the federal government is a prerequiste for doing business with FEMA. You should register your business prior to a natural disaster in order to expedite your ability to do business with FEMA. There is no cost to attend this event via teleconference but pre-registration is required; limited space is available. Please email annette.wright@fema.dhs.gov if your companies will join the teleconfernce.
