Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) intends to award a sole source contract award to GE Healthcare, 3000 N Grandview Blvd W443, Waukesha, WI 53188. This requirement is for a full service contract for preventative maintenance (PM) / service and on-call emergency support for several GE Healthcare Imaging Systems. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 8.405-6 Limited Source Justification Approval and no other vendor will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer by July 19, 2017 at 10:00 am EST. supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information must be sent to the Contract Specialist, Kimberly Wiatrowski by email to Kimberly.wiatrowski@va.gov. Telephone requests or inquiries will not be accepted. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, NCO 2 will proceed with the sole source negotiation with GE Healthcare.
