- Description
- This contract action was accomplished using other than competitive procedures because this is a task/delivery order where an exception to fair opportunity requirements was approved due to the 8(a) Small Business Partnership with the SBA which allows approved sole source contracts with those businesses identified under the program. Richardson Management Group (RMG) will be selected as the awarded vendor for providing a CIF-Warehouse Support Specialist to the USFPO Warehouse. The Georgia Army National Guard (GAARNG) requires CIF-warehouse supply support services. This sole source requirement meets the conditions OF Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act (15 USC 637(a)(1)) and the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)Part 19.86 and the executed Partnership Agreement between the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and Department of the Army and Air Force, National Guard Bureau, USPFO for Georgia. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids, quotes, or proposals. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561320. This will be a firm fixed price contract. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This synopsis does not constitute a solicitation, however all responsible sources that believe they can meet all of the requirements may contact the USPFO for Georgia via e-mail at donna.l.spence2.mil@mail.mil and be considered by the government. If no responses are received by 1300 EST 14 JULY 2017, a Sole Source contract will be pursued with RMG.
