Description
Solicitation for RFQ 1184700 (2 Day Training Seminar) The Office of Science and Engineering Laboratories (OSEL) is seeking a two day training seminar on "Verification and Validation in Scientific Computing and the Complex Methodologies of Uncertainty Quantification" on Computation Modeling. Course subjects: • Verification, validation, and uncertainty quantification • Procedures for code verification and software quality assurance • Procedures for solution verification, i.e., numerical error estimation • Planning and designing validation experiments • Procedures for model accuracy assessment • Knowledge of concepts and procedures for non-deterministic simulation • Classifying sources of uncertainty, such as aleatory and epistemic uncertainties • Identify the areas of model parameter calibration/updating • Understand local and global sensitivity analyses • Knowledge of implementing VVUQ technologies Any parties interested in this requirement should thoroughly read the attached RFQ for technical specifications and submission instructions. Offerors must state how the offeror meets or exceeds all requirements outlined in the RFQ. Quotes shall include all descriptive material necessary in order to determine whether the proposed products meet all technical specifications. A technically acceptable quote addresses all salient characteristics and requirements and does not just quote the RFQ. Please see the attached Solicitation for additional details.
