Description

THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. This is a Request for Information (RFI)/ Sources Sought Notice only and is issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.201(e) in order to conduct market research. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a guarantee to issue an RFP in the future. This RFI does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if issued. This announcement is based on the best information available at this time and is subject to future modification. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 621111 Office of Physicians (except for mental health), Small Business Size Standard $11 Million. Purpose and Objectives: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 2, and the Samuel S. Stratton VA Medical Center anticipate a requirement for Emergency Medicine Physicians for eligible Veteran beneficiaries. The VA is looking for Contractors that are capable of providing 4-8 Board Certified (BC)/Board Eligible (BE) Emergency Medicine (preferred), Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physicians to provide services for a period of 1 year + four (1) year options to extend services thereafter. Place of Performance: Department of Veterans Affairs Samuel S. Stratton VA Medical Center 113 Holland Ave Albany, NY 12208 Response: Please submit your response in accordance with the following instructions: Responses shall be no more than 5 pages in length. Cover page with responses to the Specific Response Items listed in the section below. Detail your firm s ability, capability, and responsibility to deliver the above referenced services for the period of time identified.
