- VAPHS wishes to purchase a web based on call scheduling application for the VAPHS medical staff. The current SharePoint based system is not meeting the needs of the Pittsburg VAMC, and a web based application is required to fill these needs. The solution sought should provide a complete scheduling system for physicians who are on call. Currently, on-call schedules are created by the Service Lines and uploaded onto a SharePoint site. Schedules are generally created on a monthly basis. With so many clinical service lines, departments, teams, and academic fellows, finding the right provider to call on the right day at the right time has become quite complicated. These schedules are coordinated by piecing together many different sources of information from a wide variety of individuals. VAPHS would like to pursue a contract that provides a web based tool solution that will easily identify attending and fellows on call. Presently the VAMC in Pittsburgh does not have a Scheduling Software in place. With this RFI we are looking for available solutions in the Marketplace to fill our current, immediate needs and possibly lend themselves to other opportunities. There may be other tools within these systems that we are not aware of that we may also be interested in acquiring. Vendors responding to this RFI should include a full description of the product they think will fit our needs. Vendors should also include any services available for integration, technical support, and any other potential services. The pricing schedule below has been included to help ascertain the cost of said solution and to help derive an IGCE. It in no way is used for evaluation purposes. This posting is only a Request for Information.
