- PR: 0067823052, SOLICITATION ISSUE DATE: 28 July 2017; CLOSING DATE: 28 August 2017 This solicitation will result in a Definite Quantity Contract / Firm Fixed Price for the quantity of 36. National Stock Number (NSN) 1680-010462260; approved source: THOMAS INSTRUMENT, INCORPORATED 5H860 P/N 41002416 This item has an AMC/AMSC of 3C. This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. DLA Aviation does not currently have an approved technical data package for this item, nor can the information be furnished by the government. Any manufacturer other than those listed above wishing to submit a proposal on this item must submit a complete source approval request (SAR) information may be found via http://www.aviation.dla.mil/userweb/sbo/Source%20Approval%20Requests.docx. This procurement is a sole-source, Unrestricted item, utilizing other than Full and Open Competition. This is a Critical Application Item and Navy Critical Safety Item. The following terms apply, FOB: Destination, Inspection / Acceptance: Origin. Delivery for this procurement is DLA Direct (Stock). Production delivery is 257 Days After First Article Approval (DAFAA). Contractor first article/preproduction approval testing required. First article testing shall be conducted IAW applicable drawings and drawing notes, specification, engineering instructions and specific requirements set forth in the contract. Additionally, 100% dimensional characteristics check shall be performed and results provided to the contracting officer. Past Performance Automated System (PPIRS_SR), apply. Price, Past Performance and Delivery will be equally weighted. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. This request is for a written proposal. See page 2 of the solicitation for methods of proposal submittal. The solicitation issue date is 28 July 2017 with a closing date of 28 August 2017. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DIBBS Website https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ on the issue date cited in the RFP.
