- This is sources sought announcement is for all socioeconomic status vendors. All interested parties MUST identify their socioeconomic status and verify their registration in SAM and VetBiz, if applicable. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified businesses with special interest. No solicitation is being issued at this time. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. Your responses will be due by Tuesday, July 19, 2017, 12:00PM (CST) to the point of contact listed below. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The Omaha VA Health Care System is in need of the following items: BUNDLE M5 MICRODEBRIDER OR EQUAL With Instrument tray. Capable of 30,000 rpm's, straight shot 5 features, easy turn Rotation wheel, gearless operation, direct drive motor, Rotating tip of the curved blade combined integrated power console and 360- degree cutting. Objective is to provide consistency in otolaryngology (ENT) head and neck surgical cases. In addition, the vendor will provide a service manual that includes theory of operation, maintenance requirements, repair information, schematics, part lists and troubleshooting information in electronic format for use by the VA Biomedical Engineering Department. Date of manufacture must not be greater than 2 years before the purchase order date. The equipment must not be used or refurbished and must have the latest manufacturer s software/hardware updates installed if applicable. Any batteries provided with the unit will not be manufactured more than 12 months before the purchase order issue date. Interested parties should reply to Wendy.hoeschen@va.gov.
