- Description
- The Department of State (DoS) Passport Production Support Services (PPSS) Contract is a single award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract that will provide comprehensive onsite management, administration, and processing support at three (3) Passport Centers and twenty-four (24) Passport Agencies nationwide. The scope includes all quality reviews to ensure that standards of quality of the finished Passport books/cards are maintained. The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, training, materials, and other necessary services to perform on a performance-based task/delivery order basis. For passport application processing, the number of employees will be determined on a site-by-site basis, due to the variances in workload among the individual passport Agencies/Centers, as well as the fluctuations in workload caused by seasonal demand and other influences or trends affecting increases or decreases in production requirements. The number of passports the Agencies/Centers produce varies significantly according to regional responsibility, size of staff, and workload transfers, as well as a host of other reasons and may range between 90,000 to over 2 million in issuance annually at any given location. The IDIQ Contract has a five-year period of performance (base year and four one-year option years).
