Description

Special Notice Number: SEFSC-17-SN113 Agency: Department of Commerce Location: National Marine Fisheries Service, St. Petersburg, FL This is a Special Notice of intent to procure Annual Maintenance and Support for Citrix Netscaler appliances. NMFS intends to purchase two Easy 1 Year Gold Maintenance Citrix Netscaler MPX8005 Platinum Edition, Part # 4031374-EZ on a sole-source basis with EC America via GSA schedule GS-35F-0511T. The Government intends to acquire services using FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures estimated not to exceed $15,100. The NAICS code for this procurement is 334614. This Special Notice is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation package is available; however, other potential sources with the expertise and required capabilities may submit such data which demonstrates the requirements stated above. Submissions are due no later than 27 July 2017 at 1:00 p.m. CST. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. Responses shall be faxed to Janice Hamm (850-235-3559) or email Janice.hamm@noaa.gov. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. It is the Government's belief that only NGOS can provide the expertise and deliverables as stated above. This procurement also requires contractors to complete the electronic representations and certifications at the SAM.gov website. All vendors doing business with the Government are required to be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM). No award can be made unless the vendor is registered in SAM. In order to register with the SAM and to be eligible to receive an award from this acquisition office, all offerors must also have a Dun & Bradstreet Number.
