- Page 2 of 2 DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS Network Contracting Office 6 (NCO 6) Sources Sought VA246-17-N-1618 In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Additionally, the Government reserves the right to revise specifications, and refine contract requirements, before the release of any associated solicitation. SYNOPSIS: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 6 is contemplating a solicitation for Enhancements and Upgrades to Video Surveillance, Access Security, and Dispatch Systems and Video Surveillance for two Satellite Locations at the Charles George VA Medical Center (Asheville VAMC) in Asheville, North Carolina and the Rutherfordton and Franklin CBOCs. The purpose of this Sources Sought is to identify SDVOSB and/or VOSB sources, or other small business sources, for market research purposes only, to support the development of an acquisition strategy. The following is a list of tasks anticipated for this requirement: TASKS: AUTOMATIC LICENSE PLATE RECOGNITION (ALPR) SYSTEM AT THE ASHEVILLE VAMC (ASHEVILLE, NC) Provide and Install 2 APLR cameras at Main Entrance, 1 camera at the Employee Entrance, and 1 APLR at the Riceville Road Entrance. Connect all cameras to existing power supply at each location. Install and connect all cameras to a new Ethernet switch. Integrate all cameras into the existing wireless link to transmit ALPR Data and JPEG Images to CGVAMC LAN. Install all required system licenses on existing System Server connected to CGVAMC LAN Program all 4 ALPR cameras and integrate into the existing OnSSI System Server. Perform operations checks, systems tests, and certify functionality. Provide training to operators. PHYSICAL ACCESS CONTROL (PACS) CARD READERS/MOTION DETECTORS AT THE ASHEVILLE VAMC (ASHEVILLE, NC) Install 2 PACS card readers in Inventory Management, 1 card reader at Ward 1West, 1 RM card reader at Building 15 main entrance, and 1 standard card reader at the rear entrance of Building 15. Relocate existing card readers from the Medical Media room door and install blank cover(s) as required. Install electronic lock(s) as required. Route and connect all card reader to the existing system panel(s) (C-CURE) and power supply. Perform operations checks, systems tests, and certify functionality. ADDITIONAL SURVEILLANCE CAMERAS AT THE FRANKLIN CBOC (FRANKLIN, NC) Install 2 Dome and True Day/Night and 3 Bullet Network Cameras at the Franklin, NC CBOC. Connect to the existing switch/server. Perform operations checks, systems tests, and certify functionality. ADDITIONAL SURVEILLANCE CAMERAS AT THE RUTHERFORDTON CBOC (RUTHERFORDTON, NC) Install 1Dome and True Day/Night and 4 Bullet Network Cameras at the Rutherfordton, NC CBOC. Connect to the existing switch/server. Provide training (as needed) to operators Perform operations checks, systems tests, and certify functionality.
