- This is a notice of intent to negotiate a sole source requirement. The Bureau of Reclamation, Yuma Area Office, Yuma, Arizona has a Commercial Item requirement for various dredge parts, i.e. traveling spud winch, flap assembly check valve, suction assembly cleanout, service water pump proprietary to Dredges, LLC, 1425 Wicomico Street, Baltimore, Maryland 21230. Other dredge parts would not be compatible since they are designed and operate different. This proposed action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit with only one source in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(2) - Only one responsible source and no other supplies will satisfy Agency requirements. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities to respond to the requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes and an RFQ will not be issued; however, the Government will consider all responses received within three (3) days of publication. A determination by the Government not to complete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. For this acquisition, North American Industrial Classification System code is 333923, Overhead Traveling Crane, Hoist, and Monorail System Manufacturing. This procurement will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The anticipated award date is on or about August 11, 2017. Effective July 30, 2012, prospective vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to the award of a contract. Lack of registration in the SAM database may make an offeror ineligible for award.
