Description

In accordance with FAR 13.106-1 (c )(1), the Department of Veterans Affairs intends to perform oral solicitations for 2 sets of Micro Surgical Saws, Drills and Drivers for the Puget Sound VAMC, 1660 S. Columbian Way Seattle WA 98108. This will be set-aside for SDVOSB s in NAICS 339112 Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing. To be considered eligible for award all SDVOSB s must be registered/verified through Vetbiz.gov. If you wish to be included in this solicitation please respond electronically to laura.davis5@va.gov by 5PM PDT August 2, 2017. The contract will be awarded: on/about Friday August 4, 2017. Speed of at least 20,000 CPM Electric Sagittal Saw: no longer than 5.3 inches, no wider than 0.79 inch in diameter, weight no higher than 0.33 lb. Speed of at least 25,000 CPM Electric Reciprocating Saw: no longer than 6.73 inches, no wider than 0.79 inches in diameter, Speed of at least 14,000 CPM. Electric Universal Driver: no longer than 5.47 inches, 5.3 inches high, no wider than 1.02 inches. Speed of at least 1,500 rpm Attachments to fit exactly with above drill, saws and driver. Micro Drill Series Straight Attachment Wire Collet (.7-1.8 mm) Pin Collet (2.0 -3.2 mm) AO Small Drill ¼ Drill with Key Electric Hand Switch Vendor shall be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) authorized dealer, authorized distributor or authorized reseller for the proposed equipment/system such that OEM warranty and service are provided and maintained by the OEM. All software licensing, warranty, and service associated with the equipment/system shall be in accordance with the OEM terms and conditions. This procurement is for new Equipment ONLY; no remanufactured or "gray market" items. All Equipment must be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. This notice satisfies the requirement at FAR 5.201 to synopsize proposed contract actions. The Government will not pay for information submitted. This will be the only notice of the Government's intent to solicit, negotiate, and award to one source to satisfy this requirement.
