- Description
- The Government intends to issue a procurement, full and open, for the delivery of Aviator Breathing Oxygen (ABO) (NSN 6830-00-808-9531), Type II, in accordance with MIL-PRF-27210J, dated 7 August 2013. The Government intends to award one (1) Firm-Fixed Price Requirements type contract using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Commercial Acquisition procedures. The contract ordering period will be three (3) years from date of award. The Contractor shall provide all materials, supplies, product, management, tools, equipment, transportation, and labor necessary for delivery of Aviator Breathing Oxygen (ABO). The total estimated contract quantity is 33,000 GL. Delivery is FOB Destination into a Government owned tank at Naval Hospital in Okinawa, Japan. The following ancillary services are also included: detention costs, tank over-pressure protection, and hot fills. Award will be made to the Offeror determined to be the best value to the Government, price and other factors considered, using the Best Value Source Selection Process. Specifically, the Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable Source Selection Process will be utilized in accordance with FAR 15.101-2. The solicitation will be issued on or about 3 August 2017 and will be posted to the FedBizOpps web page http://fbo.gov/. If you do not have Internet Access, a hard copy of the solicitation may be requested. Only written, emailed, or faxed copies received directly from the requester will be acceptable. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the agency. If you intend to submit an offer, you are required to complete, sign and return the entire solicitation package and be registered in SAM at www.SAM.gov PRIOR to submission of an offer for consideration by the Government.
