- The US Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS), National Conservation Training Center (NCTC) in Shepherdstown, WV intends to award a purchase order to OCLC Online Computer Library Center, Inc of Dublin, OH for annual licenses subscriptions to ContentDM and Worldshare Management Service providing an integrated network solution to manage the NCTC ¿s library collection for circulation, acquisitions, interlibrary lending/borrowing, vendor management, and integration with image collections. The bibliographic utility provides cataloging, resource sharing, managing interlibrary loans, and digital asset management software that is interoperable with WorldCat, the current library catalog system used by the USFWS, and is the only source for upgrades and extensions to ContentDM software. The period of performance for the proposed contract is 10/01/2017 through 09/30/2018. The proposed contract is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. However, all proposals received within fifteen days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses with this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
