Description
The USDA, ARS, PMS intends to purchase a Laboratory Glassware Dishwasher from Steris Corporation 5960 Heisley Rd., Mentor, Oh 44060 the dishwasher must include: Single door, Steam heat, 208V, 3ph, 3wire, Air compressor with automatic tank drain, Non- vented drying system, Drain discharge col down, Printer, Spindle head for glassware up to 250 ml (18 pieces), Spindle head for glassware up to 200 ml (32 pieces), General purpose basket, Cover for general purpose basket, Rotary Spray header, Installation, and De-installation of old washer. Stainless-steel, cabinet enclosed washer can accommodate two loading accessories for simultaneous processing of various size laboratory glassware. Allen-Bradley PLC control with color touch screen provide for cycle set-up, selection, monitoring and cycle alarms. The washer is equipped with an automatic, vertical sliding door that is constructed of double pane tempered glass. Two detergent injection pumps and an interior chamber light are included. Seismic Mounting. • Laboratory Glassware Washers • Reliance 400XLS Laboratory Glassware Washer • Single Door • Steam Heat • 208V, 3-PH, 3-Wire Air compressor with automatic tank drain is equipped with a two gallon (7.6L) tank and 1/3 HP (0,25 KW) motor. Maximum pressure is 100 psig (6.9 bar). Maximum flow rate is 2 CFM (0,06 CMM). Drying system treatment can be programmed to occur after the final rinse treatment of a cycle. During Drying, chamber air is heated to the selected temperature (up to 240°F [116°C]) and recirculated through the chamber and accessory headers, while a portion is exhausted to the room through a vapor condenser. Energy is recovered by using hot exhaust air to pre-heat fresh incoming air. System includes a plate heat exchanger, 3 HP (2.2 kW) blower and electric heaters. SMART drying system, if selected, automatically adjusts cycle time according to the size of the load. At the end of each treatment, the cool down system ensures water drained to the building drain system does not exceed 140°F (60°C). If water temperature in chamber sump is greater than 140°F (60°C), cold water is automatically added to reduce temperature of water being discharged to building drain. The system also cools down the steam condensate if steam condensate return accessory is installed. Includes an impact printer that is installed on the control panel to maintain records of cycle parameters and alarms. M-18 Spindle Header Used to wash 18 pieces of glassware up to 250 ml, up to 3 3/4" (95 mm). M-32 Spindle Header Used to wash 32 pieces of glassware up to 200 ml, up to 3" (76 mm). GPB General Purpose Basket Used with Bottom Rotary Spray Header to wash beakers and miscellaneous hardware. Cover For General Purpose Basket Used with Bottom Rotary Spray Header and General Purpose Basket to hold down lightweight plasticware. Bottom Rotary Spray Header Used in Reliance Models 400 and 500 washers in conjunction with General Purpose Basket, Test Tube Rack, and Petri Dish Rack to provide load coverage from the bottom. Installation Uncrate the equipment at the site and inspect for shipping damage • Assemble or re-erect the equipment • Assemble equipment piping packages and accessories where provided • Install standard final panels where provided • Move the equipment to specified facility location. Customer to provide clear, unimpeded ingress to installation site. No special rigging or rigging equipment is included in this scope unless previously addressed and priced • Put the equipment into its place and level it (see Seismic restrictions) • Make all air, steam, water & drain utility connections from building termination to the equipment (maximum of 6ft/1.8m) using flexible or hard-piping* according to local regulations. PAYMENT: Any award made under this solicitation is subject to 31 CFR Part 208 which requires all payments made by the government to be made by electronic funds transfer. In the event the vendor will accept payment via the Government Purchase Card (VISA), the vendor shall annotate on its offer that it will accept the purchase card, and clause 52.232-33 will be superseded by clause 52.232-36.
