- updated minimum technical specifications - 8-3-2017 The purpose of this amendment is to address industry questions, unrestrict the Transducer ICD drawing, update the Option Year Structure Quantity, and extend the solicitation response date. QUESTION 1: Solicitation # N66604-17-Q-2868 requires a 60 day ARO. We request an extension on delivery terms to 22 weeks ARO ANSWER 1: 5 Month Delivery ARO is acceptable. The solicitation response date is extended from July 27, 2017, 2:00 PM Eastern Standard Time to August 7, 2017, 2:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. All other terms and conditions of this solicitation remain unchanged. AMENDMENT 2: The purpose of this amendment is to address industry questions, post updated minimum technical specifications, and extend the solicitation response date. QUESTION 1: Regarding the Receive Characteristics section of the Transducer Specification Document dated 10 May 2017 submitted with RFP N66604-17-P-2868, will the Government accept the following performance values? Free-Field Voltage Sensitivity (FFVS) non-amplified: -186dBV//µPa (nominal) @ 13kHz FFVS Variance @ 7.5 kHz to 15 kHz: +/-10dB Variance FFVS Variance @ 7.5 kHz to 20 kHz: +/-20dB Variance ANSWER 1: Acceptable QUESTON 2: Regarding the Transmit Characteristics section of the Transducer Specification Document dated 10 May 2017 submitted with RFP N66604-17-P-2868, specifically the Output Variance @ 7.5 kHz to 15 kHz (Full Power) section. Will the Government accept a TVR performed at a reduced power level over the specified band? ANSWER 2: Acceptable QUESTION3: Regarding the Acoustic Tests section of the Transducer Specification Document dated 10 May 2017 submitted with RFP N66604-17-P-2868, specifically the Sound Level Plot from 5 kHz to 20 kHz demonstrating 192dB//µPa @ 1m at 13kHz capability. Will the Government accept performing single frequency spot checks for verifying the 192dB//µPa @ 1m at 13kHz capability? ANSWER 3: Acceptable; but adding a check at 9kHz as well. QUESTION 4: Regarding the Hydrostatic Pressure Test section of the Transducer Specification Document dated 10 May 2017 submitted with RFP N66604-17-P-2868, will the Government accept performing the hydrostatic pressure test up to 1000PSIG? ANSWER 4: Acceptable The solicitation response date is extended from August 7, 2017, 2:00 PM Eastern Standard Time to August 10, 2017, 2:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. All other terms and conditions of this solicitation remain unchanged.
