Solicitation: VA786-17-R-0653 Project Title: Replace Air Conditioning Unit Project Location: LONG ISLAND NATIONAL CEMETERY (815) M&R Project Control #: 815-MR17-42 Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to replace the York split system air conditioner in kind at the maintenance/admin building at the Long Island National Cemetery. The contractor shall remove and dispose all debris from the cemetery upon completion. The system replacement shall include the condenser, line sets, air handler, coil, thermostat, and main disconnect/service switch and breaker(s) (The feeder from the main panel may be re-used). System shall also include a new condensate drain pan, drain, pump if necessary. Long Island NC is located at 2040 Wellwood Ave. Farmingdale NY 11735. New System requirements: Sized to match unit being replaced. This is an air conditioner only, no heat. Commercial off the shelf split system. Condenser, line sets, coil, air handler from the same manufacturer. Provide a submittal to the COR for approval. Thermostat shall be a 7 day programable type. Provide a submittal to the COR for review and approval. Minimum SEER rating of 17. Existing System Information Outside Unit York Model H1DH048S06B, SER # EMAM421657 Indoor Unit York Model N2AHD16A06C, SER # EMAM421657 Size 4 Ton The indoor air handler is in the attic of the building 3. See full solicitation for SOW. Work shall meet the attached specification sections in Attachment H: 013323 Shop Drawings, Product Data, and Samples 230511 Common Work Results for HVAC 230593 Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing for HVAC 230711 HVAC and Plumbing Insultation 238100 Decentralized Unitary HVAC Equipment Pre-Bid Site Visit: Bidders are urged and expected to inspect, site investigate by observation, and Request for Information (RFI) and responses through the Contracting Office to satisfy their understanding of the work to be done, all general, local and technical conditions that may affect the cost and the feasibility of their proposal. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after award. The Contractor shall complete all work within 30 calendar days after receipt of Notice of Award, subject to all terms, conditions, provisions and schedules of the contract. This acquisition is for a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside. North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code 238220 is applicable.
