Description

VA244-17-Q-1476 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95 Effective January 19, 2017 The combined synopsis/solicitation number is VA244-17-Q-1476 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The James E. Van Zandt VA Medical Center located at 2907 Pleasant Valley Blvd, Altoona, PA 16602 has a requirement for a Field Roll Groove and Schedule 80 Steam Roll Set. This requirement will be Brand Name or Equal: Manufacturer Victaulic Company; MFR Part Number VE416FS and MFR Part Number R9S as in Price Schedule below. Comparable products must be brand name or equal in the following specifications: Equipment offered must have the capability to groove schedule 80 steel steam pipe. This solicitation is set aside 100% for Small Businesses and the associated NAICS code 333999 All Other Miscellaneous General Purpose Machinery Manufacturing and the size standard is 500 employees.
