Synopsis Package Synopsis Package THIS IS A SYNOPSIS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR PART 12.6 and FAR PART 13, SIMIPLIFIED ACQUISITIONS PROCEDURES. THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The National Institutes of Health intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Leica TCS SP8 Spectral Confocal SuperResolution and MP Ready System. This is a custom built microscopy imaging system for in vivo imaging for Retinal Cell & Molecular Biology. DM6 CFS flex Objective nosepiece H, 6­pos,DM6 CFS Optical Outfit EL6000 Scanning Stage CFS flat Scan optics module VISIR with rotation Tandem scanner 8 kHz SP8 LIAchroics Compact RGBV/RGTB Three Internal Detector Channels (PMT), two Internal Detector Channels (HyD) Laser 405 nm DMOD Compact Laser Turquoise 514 nm and Laser Red 638 nm Mai Tai fs prepared (without MP Laser) HyD RLD 2ch Filter Cube HyD­RLD 2ch FITC/TRITC HyVolution2 Expert CUDA Workstation, Monitor Computer table small, 80x80 cm 115V Air Supply and Air Table of sufficient size to be supplied by customer. Huygens Software package for confocal extracts the most information from your confocal images. By increasing the contrast and image resolution it helps to discover detail not seen before. Confocal super­resolution down to 140 nm laterally in conjunction with HyDs and HyVolution and a factor of 2 increase in axial resolution. Huygens can be flexibly combined with any confocal imaging modality and facilitates true, on­sequential multicolor imaging. Fully integrated multiphoton option with femtosecond laser for deep tissue imaging. Please included Maintenance with a base and four option years. The announcement number for this acquisition is NIH-OLAO-OD-NOI20172322 and is being issued under the authority of the FAR subpart 6.302-1, 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-58 dated April 18, 2012. This acquisition will be processed under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and is not a small business set-aside. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334516, which has a size dollar standard of 1,000. Responses The proposed acquisition action is for items and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1 (b). If you believe you can provide the item requested, please forward capability statements to anita.edward1a@nih.gov referencing notice number NIH-OLAO-OD3-NOI20172322 by 10am on August 21, 2017. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract acquisition based upon responses to the notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in response. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate. Any organization responding to this notice should ensure that its response is complete and sufficiently detailed. Information provided will be used to assess tradeoffs and alternatives available for the potential requirement and may lead to the development of a solicitation. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. Any solicitation resulting from the analysis of information obtained will be announced to the public in Federal Business Opportunities in accordance with the FAR Part 5. However, responses to this notice will not be considered adequate responses to a solicitation. No proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information should be included in your response. The Government reserves the right to use any non-proprietary technical information in any resultant solicitation(s).
