- This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential Small Business prospective contractors relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 333912 (Air and Gas Compressor Manufacturing). This requirement is to replace the existing breathing air compressor (Gardner / Denver Systems, Models EWD99E) and air purifier (Del-Monox purifier model DM260) with a new, more energy efficient product. The Government is requesting that responsible sources respond if it can provide the following items: 1EA. Floor mounted Breathing Air Compressor -Rated at the Cubic Feet per Minute of 125PSI to 145PSI. -Voltage 460 -Oil free gear drive -Low Sound not to exceed 85dba -Compressor safety relief valve -Full sound enclosure with access doors or panels -Pre-Filtration and Carbon Monoxide Monitor 1EA. Air Purifier -Rated to meet grade D Breathing Air Quality and to function with new compressors output. -maximum Carbon Monoxide levels: 10 part per million -Less than 5 milligrams per cubic meter of hydrocarbons -Less than 1000 parts per million Carbon Dioxide Removal, Disposal, Installation and Training Removal and disposal of existing breathing air and purifier compressor. Installation of new breathing air compressor and purifier and provide on-site operator training on the new air compressor and air purifier units. Interested Small Businesses are required to reply describing: 1. Qualifications, capabilities, and experience for providing this product; 2. Business size/Socioeconomic status; and 3. If the product is on the Federal Supply Schedule or the Open Market This is not a Request for Proposal or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation package exists at this time. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submissions will not be returned to the sender. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 333912 and the small business size standard is 1,000 employees. Responses due are to be submitted by e-mail to SSgt Nzoiwu at Chigbo.o.nzoiwu.mil@mail.mil. The information requested must be received no later than 1:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on Wednesday, August 23rd, 2017.
