- This notice is seeking Small Business vendors for a proposed contract and is not a solicitation. If you are a small business that can provide mat rental services on a weekly basis to the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center (5000 W National Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53295) and are interested in bidding on the solicitation, please contact Jaclyn.alverson@va.gov for further information. The subsequent solicitation will be issued on or around 8/25/2017. Vendor's must have an active SAM.gov registration to receive award. Brief Description of Services Required: The Contractor shall provide mats for entrance ways (as specified in the Statement of Work). Mats shall be free of stains, tears and holes. Mats with minor tears, open seams, etc. are not acceptable. Mats that do not lay flat pose a safety hazard and will not be accepted for use at this facility. Mats shall be heavy traffic, rubber-backed, dirt and moisture trapping pile track/entrance mats. The color of the mats to be chosen by VA prior to contract beginning date. Exterior mats should be black with wide trap treads. All mats must have appropriate backing for where they will be placed, (i.e. smooth back for tiled areas, gripper back for carpeted areas). Potential offerors are invited to provide information via e-mail to jaclyn.alverson@va.gov. All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy and whether or not a small business set aside shall be utilized for a potential future acquisition. If your company is capable of providing the services required, please send an email to Jaclyn.Alverson@va.gov by Wednesday, Aug 23, 2017 at 12:00 PM CST.
