- SF-1449 STATEMENT OF WORK 1. SCOPE The contractor shall supply and install two 60HP boat motors for Lock and Dam 5A in Fountain City, WI. The US Army Corps of Engineers is willing to transport the boats for installation of the motors up to a distance of 50 miles from Lock and Dam 5A, if installation is to occur farther away it's the responsibility of the Offeror to arrange transport of the boat, and the cost of transport is to be included in the quoted price of the motors. The two existing Mercury outboard motors will be removed and retained by government staff. 2. NEEDS DESCRIPTION The outboards are used to power the upstream rescue boat, its dependability is critical to prevent loss of life. 3. SPECIFICATIONS The outboard motors shall be Mercury 60HP or equivalent, meeting or exceeding the following requirements: - 60 Horse power - 4 stroke EFI - 20" shaft - Electric start - Multiple engine control/with trim control - Power trim - Twin/Dual engine console mount control (with trim) - Props - Audible Overheat warning device - Emergency stop switch - Audible Low oil warning device - Mounting hardware - 12 foot wiring harness and cables - Needs to fit twin/dual engine controls. - Standard instrumentation package including: Tachometer, Hour and Voltage meters, for each motor - Service manual - Manufactures warranty - Authorized service center within 50 miles - Motors and accessories are to properly fit a Sea Ark 17' Roustabout SAMA 1111 boat 5. Delivery Due Date The motors shall be installed on or before 01 November 2017. Transport of the boat shall be between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M. CST Monday thru Friday, except on Government holidays. Any delivery (pick up or return) after 3:00 P.M. will not be accepted by Government personnel until the next work period as designated above.
