Description
No telephone requests will be accepted. Direct your requests and communication to: ATTN: DLA-AHA, CHRISTINA FIRTH, Contract Specialist, via email Christina.Firth@dla.mil. For request for solicitation, provide your name, the company name and Cage Code and a telephone/facsimile number. PRON: AX7F6075AX. The Government proposes to acquire, on a Firm-fixed Price, 5 YEAR IDIQ contract, a minimum quantity of 55 each, contract maximum of 295 each of a SCISSORS ASSY, MAIN, NSN: 1615-01-1656868; Part Number: 7-311511158-5 applicable to the APACHE (AH-64) weapon system. Production Lead Time (PLT) with First Article Testing is 55 each, 608 Days After Contract Award (DACA). PLT without First Article Testing is 55 each, 405 DACA with deliveries to NEW CUMBERLAND, PA 17070. This item is restricted to the following approved sources: THE BOEING COMPANY, CAGE CODE: 8V613 PCX AEROSTRUCTURES, LLC., CAGE CODE: 82001 The technical factors support the Government's consideration for other than full and open competitive acquisition. This item is suitable for competitive acquisition the second or subsequent time from the indicated approved source(s) of supply. As a result, this acquisition is currently being procured under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2) having only a limited number of responsible sources. This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website: http://amcomdmz.redstone.army.mil/casl_cmo/casldba.casl_cmo_samsar and looking under Standardized Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies.
