Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. Responses to this Sources Sought must be in writing. The purpose of this Sources Sought Announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, Veteran Owned Small Businesses, 8(a), HubZone and other Small Businesses interested and capable of performing the work. Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition. Podiatry Council on Podiatric Medical Education (CPME) Statement of Work STATEMENT OF WORK PUBLIC HEALTH TRAINING EXERICSE VA New Jersey HCS, East Orange campus The Emergency Management Specialist at VA New Jersey Health Care System is seeking services to provide refresher training on activating, recovery and demobilization of VA New Jersey medical field shelter assets to support a public health emergency event. This project training objective is to familiarize VA New Jersey staff with operational planning, activation, recovery and demobilization of VA New Jersey public health emergency assets. The services required would provide hand-on instructions to approximately 30 participants for three (3) consecutive days:.Training content will be specific to Western Shelter owned assets and include the following: Safety, Command and Control, Site Selection, Unloading of equipment, Inventory, Equipment Familiarization, Shelter built out per need and Disassembly, Operations, Demobilization, Water Distribution, Electrical Distribution, Hygiene Center Connection, HVAC Connection, Maintenance, Re-Inventory and Reloading into containers and place of storage. Training materials, hand-outs and certificates are to be provided as part of services rendered. This project was identified by VANJHCS Senior Leadership and the Emergency Management Work Group (EMWG) as critical assets for caring for veterans with highly infectious or contagious diseases, during community wide mass casualty events and performing Tier 3 Healthcare responsibilities IAW VHA Emergency Operations Plan. Special Purpose funding has been provided to procure services for this purpose..
