- J&A Fire Pumps 1. Military Sealift Command (MSC), Norfolk, VA intends to award a Sole Source firm fixed price purchase order to Carver Pump Company, Inc. for the USNS CHOCTAW COUNTY (T-EPF 2) and USNS MILLINOCKET (T-EPF 3). 2. Manufacturer: Carver Pump Company, Inc. 3. Classification Code: 333911 4. Closing Response Date: August 31, 2017 at 14:00 am Norfolk, VA local time. 5. Contracting Officer Address: 471 "C" Street, Norfolk, VA 23511 6. Contract Point of Contact: Tommy Hale, 757-443-5880, tommy.a.hale@navy.mil 7. Delivery: February 28, 2018 8. Place of Contract Delivery: MSC W143 Warehouse, Norfolk, VA 23511 9. Description: Fire Pump Assembly to include pump, motor and base Plate, Drawing No. 998-4213-D-13 is currently at Revision "L". 10. Quantity: Five (5) for USNS CHOCTAW COUNTY and Two (2) for USNS MILLINOCKET, for a total of Seven (7). 11. This procurement is a FAR 12 acquisition being conducted under FAR Subpart 13.5 Test Program. Accordingly, simplified acquisitions procedures apply. After receipt of quote, the Government may without notice, negotiate with and, if desired, seek a quote revision from quoter. 12. Basis For Award: Award will be made to the responsible, technically acceptable quoter, whose quote, conforming to the Requirement 13. Set-aside Status: UNRESTRICTED; Decision is based on FAR 19.502-2. Based on market research, there is not a reasonable expectation of obtaining offers from two or more responsible small business concerns. Military Sealift Command Small Business Office concurs with determination.
