Page 1 of 1 THIS IS A PRE-SOLICIATION NOTICE The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs requires linen and laundry service for the Department of Veterans Affairs, Tennessee Valley Healthcare System (TVHS), Nashville Campus, 1310 24th Avenue South, Nashville, Tennessee 37212, Murfreesboro Campus, 3400 Lebanon Pike, Murfreesboro, TN 37129, and Chattanooga Community Based Outpatient Clinic, 6098 Debra Rd Suite 5200 Bldg 6200 Chattanooga TN 37411 to include all federal holidays. A REQUEST FOR QUOTE WILL BE POSTED ON OR ABOUT September 5, 2017. DO NOT CALL PRIOR TO READING THE REQUEST FOR QUOTE Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, insurance, licenses and equipment to linen and laundry service for the Department of Veterans Affairs Tennessee Valley Healthcare System (TVHS) Medical Centers at Nashville and Murfreesboro, TN and Chattanooga Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) in Tennessee. The vendor selected shall be ready to start on October 1, 2017 as a fully capable entity with all equipment required up and ready, with trained and certified personnel. The contractor shall not maintain any control or make any changes to VA personnel policies and matters. The contractor shall provide, at its own expense, all personnel requirements to perform the contract. Such contract workers shall not be employees of the VA. The contractor and subcontractors under the supervision of the contractor shall perform the entire contract services required hereunder. All personnel engaged in the performance of this transportation contract shall be fully qualified to perform such contract services. The contractor shall assign key personnel (such as safety manager, operations officer, dispatcher), with requisite experience to the contact. The Contractor will identify and hire an account manager. The account manager will be the Department s point of contact through which the parties will communicate, resolve, all contract accounts receivable, billing and invoicing. If the contractor terminates the employment of any key personnel or if the VA requests their removal, the contractor shall reassign personnel to the position within seven days of such action. The VA shall have the right to approve new key personnel, which shall not be unreasonably withheld. All contracted workers are subject to appropriate background investigations to include SORI and Cori checks and must abide by Federal HIPAA and VA information security regulation and policy. Background investigation costs shall be at the expense of the contractor. Please see attached Statement of Work for more details.
