Description

Description: SERVICES: Commercial Deep Kitchen Cleaning Services This is a Combined Synopsis Solicitation for commercial items and will be conducted in accordance FAR Part 13 (2005-95/ 01-19-2017). This acquisition uses a tiered evaluation method of quotes, also known as a cascading evaluation of quotes. The Request for Quote gives preference to Service Disabled Veteran Owned and Veteran Owned Small Business concerns. A tiered or cascading order of precedence for evaluating quotes is specified in the solicitation/Request for Quote document. If no award can be made at the first tier, evaluations will continue at the next lower tier until award can be made. Veteran owned concerns must be certified in the VIP system at the time of the receipt of quote (solicitation due date) as indicated in the Request for Quote (RFQ) document. Quoters shall fully complete, sign, and submit the attached RFQ document and include any additional documentation being requested therein. The purpose of this Solicitation is to acquire Commercial Deep Kitchen Cleaning Services for the Miami VA Healthcare System (MVAHS) as indicated in the solicitation document. It is the intention of the Government to solicit via RFQ VA248-17-Q-1319, NAICS Code: 561720 in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, specifications, and schedules of the solicitation and award a contract on a competitive basis. The contract resulting from the solicitation shall be a Firm Fixed Priced contract. In an effort to meet the green initiative, documents shall be submitted electronically via email only. Emails shall not be more than five (5) megabytes in size. Offers submitted by any other means other than emailed will not be accepted. The electronic solicitation is hereby announced on this 31st day of the month of August 2017. The offeror shall be responsible for downloading all solicitation documents/ amendments from the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website (www.fbo.gov) without further notice from the Department of Veterans Affairs. Interested firms must be fully registered and active in the SAM database www.sam.gov. All correspondence and any and all questions must be submitted in via email to: Brendalee.Clarke@va.gov. The Contracting Officer is O niel Alvarez. The last day for questions or Request for Information (RFI s) from industry is 8 September 2017 at 1:00 p.m. EST.
