Description
Centralized Banking and Cash Management Program (NAF) Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC), Millington, TN, a Nonappropriated Fund Instrumentality (NAFI) of the Federal Government intends to award a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed Price Contract to Bank of America (BofA),100 S. Charles St., 3rd Floor, Baltimore, MD 21201. This is a logical follow-on for the continuation of services. Background: The Contractor shall provide banking services to CNIC, F&FR, Navy Gateway Inns and Suites (NGIS), large Navy Civilian MWR operations, Fisher House Operations, Retirement Home (Washington DC and Gulfport, MS) and to Ship Recreation Funds. SCOPE CNIC, F&FR provides a variety of services to CNIC. Included in these services are banking and payroll. CNIC, F&FR operations are located aboard all of the approximately 150 Naval installations world-wide. Each base/region is on a centralized accounting system with CNIC, F&FR to account for revenues and expenses, record deposits and other base-level transactions. This system, in combination with the centralized reconciliation and investment program provides CNIC, F&FR with accurate records of all funds moving into and out of the consolidated system. CNIC, F&FR is responsible for insuring that these funds are moved from the base level to the headquarters level in the most time efficient manner possible. The funds are swept from the local depository accounts in order to pool funds for centralized investments and to cover the cost of centralized disbursements. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE. All functions are to be performed at the contractor's place of business. This Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Contract is not a request for competitive proposals. There is no solicitation document available. This is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any interested party/parties may request further information no later than Monday, 8 September 2017 by 1500 Central Time.
