- RED 2000.12 Document RED 2012.23 ESPA Rideshare Document ABC User's Guide ALS-DC-15-1025 Moog-ESPA Overview RFI Table 4-1 RFI Table 5-2 RFI Table 6-2 RFI/Reference Material Dear Rideshare Spacecraft Manufacturer, It is our intent to survey industry to obtain planning information for implementing a series of science payloads on a range of rideshare spacecraft options. Where rideshare spacecraft are spacecraft launched below a primary spacecraft, typically using a secondary payload adapter. We ask that any voluntary participants provide the requested information (see below) to aid us in determining industry's ability to support a range of rideshare spacecraft. The enclosed Industry Survey Data Package provides the following information: Rideshare literature review Existing rideshare spacecraft capabilities Science instruments accommodation requirements and notional bus options Communication payload accommodation requirements and notional bus options Instructions for response preparation We are exploring the option of implementing multiple primary missions using a combination of rideshare spacecraft (vs. a dedicated launch vehicle). We appreciate hearing your ideas and recommendations concerning innovative techniques for rideshare spacecraft implementation. It is anticipated that the different rideshare spacecraft would be purchased through a Firm Fixed Price ID/IQ contract.
