Description
JOFOC PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE PUBLISHED. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to negotiate a one-time, sole-source, fixed price contract with Altium, Inc, 4275 Executive Square, Suite 825, La Jolla, CA 92037 for the purpose of procuring four (4) Altium AS-Private Server Perpetual Licenses and four (4) Altium Subscriptions. The FBI Technical Exploitation Unit (TExU) is the program responsible for developing and utilizing innovative and novel scientific methods and techniques for enhancement of current electronic exploitation capabilities. These private server perpetual commercial licenses are needed to create schematic and PCD designs and simulation for case support/investigations. Technical Requirements: *14-000-171-PCSR E: AD - Private Server Perpetual Commercial License: AD17 Single Site (E) - Geo Scope: Single Site; License Type: Private Server *14-004-171-BCSR E: Altium Subscription: Private Server New Commercial License: AD17 Single Site (E) - New Sales 1-seat(s) subscription with new license for twelve (12) months Based on market research, and Government end-users, it has been determined that Altium, Inc. is the sole provider and manufacturer of the Licenses and Subscriptions that meet the FBI specifications. This notice will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website (www.fbo.gov). Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FBO site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The North American Classification System Code is 511210 Software Publishers. The FBI intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement to the attention of: Kate Petek, email address: kepetek@fbi.gov NLT 1000 CST 7 September 2017. Emailed responses will only be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is at the discretion of the Government. Vendors must be registered in SAM, effective July 29, 2012 to receive Government contracts. The FBI uses a financial system that has a direct interface with SAM. Please ensure that your company's SAM information is updated and accurate. This includes TIN, EFT, DUNS, addresses and contact information. The EFT banking information on file in SAM will be what the FBI uses to process payment to your organization.
