- Construction services needed to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment and other items required to install an asphalt overlay on the entrance road to Bluebill PUA. The estimated price is between $100,000 and $250,000. Provide all labor, fuel, equipment and supplies/materials necessary for full depth scarification of existing asphalt, re-grade and compact in order to re-use this material as the base for the new asphalt overlay. Appropriate aggregate material will be used if scarified material is of inadequate quantity. Scarified roadway area will be compacted to not less than 95% of maximum density. After scarifying, grading and compaction, the contractor shall uniformly apply an asphaltic primer bonding agent prior to placement of new asphalt. Contractor shall use Type S4 PG 64-22 OK Asphaltic Concrete Paving or Type B asphalt concrete (as per ODOT specifications) to provide a full three-inch (3") roller-compacted layer of asphalt for a width of 18' x 1320' feet in length. Area to be prepared and asphalted is approximately 23,760 square feet. Asphalt shall be compacted as to prevent any standing water depressions "bird-baths". Asphalt surface shall be uniformly leveled with small degree of slope to ensure positive drainage. All work shall comply with Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) specifications for highway construction. The acquisition is being competed as 100% Total Small Business Set-aside.
