- FENCE REPLACEMENT SERVICES - HINU This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemental with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being set aside 100% for Indian Small Economic Enterprises (ISEE) in accordance with the Buy Indian Act Regulations. The Solicitation No. is A17PS01388 and is a request for bids. The Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAR FAC 2005-94 and 95 thru Jan 19, 2017. Haskell Indian Nations has a requirement for the replacement and installation of wrought iron fencing around the Cemetery which is located in Lawrence, Kansas, Douglas County. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 561730 Landscaping Services, with a small business size standard of $7.50. Any acquisition resulting from this solicitation will be from such a concern. Offers received from enterprises that are not both Indian economic enterprises and small business concerns will not be considered and will be rejected. (End of provision) Overview: The purpose of the Haskell Cemetery is to preserve the historic beginnings of Haskell and to respectfully honor those individuals who are buried there. Scope of Work: The Haskell Cemetery fencing is in need of replacement to better ensure the protection of the graves and markers located in it. Contractor to remove the old fence and install five (8) foot wrought iron fencing around the cemetery with a wide gate large enough to accommodate mowers and vehicles. The following are needed to complete the proposed project, including: Tear out existing chain link fence and gates approx. (560) linear feet. (Includes haul away) Install approx. (562) linear feet of (8) foot height wrought iron fence with double drive gate foot opening includes hardware. With a double-drive gate with hardware 10 foot opening and 60" wide walk gate. All Bids are due September 20, 2017 by 12:00 pm Central Standard time and should include the following; 1.SF-1449 2.FAR CLAUSE 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, only if they have not been completed in ORCA 3.DIAR 1452.280-4, certifying that you met the definition of an Indian Economic Enterprise. Award: The Government expects to have a contract awarded by September 22, 2017. Contractor will have 7 days from award to start the background security process to get clearance to be onsite. Once the background is completed, contractor will be expected to start work within 7 days and complete all work within 30 days.
