Description

This is a Sources Sought Synopsis announcement for market research in support of P-1232 MICROGRID EXPANSION, TWENTYNINE PALMS, CALIFORNIA Responses to this Sources Sought Synopsis will be used to make appropriate acquisition decisions and will not be disclosed outside the agency. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. This notice does not constitute a Request for Proposal and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose other than market research. Further, the Navy is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the analysis. All data received in response to this Sources Sought Synopsis that is marked or designated as corporate or proprietary information will be fully protected from release outside the Government. Since this is a Sources Sought announcement, no debrief, evaluation letters, and/or results will be issued to the participants. No telephone calls will be accepted requesting a proposal package or solicitation. There is no proposal package or solicitation at this time. In order to protect the procurement integrity of this project, information regarding the technical point of contact will not be given and no appointments for presentations will be made. The requirement is for Load Share Controller hardware and software that is compatible with existing Solar Turbines Natural Gas, Turbine Generators load share controller hardware and software. The load share controller hardware and software is required for a project requiring integration of load sharing functions from 2 existing power plants using 1 Solar Turbine on one plant and 2 solar turbines on another plant. The estimated total value of the Load Sharing controlling hardware and software is approximately $75,876. Interested sources are invited to respond to this Sources Sought Synopsis by completing Attachment 1 - Company Information and Attachment 2 - Technical Information. Responses to this Sources Sought Synopsis are due no later than Friday, September 15, 2017, 12:00 P.M. (Pacific Time). The responses should be submitted electronically via e-mail to Elliott Penetrante, at elliott.penetrante@navy.mil. Responses received after the deadline or without the required information shall not be considered.
