Description

VAMC SALISBURY, Salisbury, North Carolina intends to solicit and award a sole source firm-fixed price annual contract for Leica Instruments. The intent to sole source decision is based on proprietary information required to service Leica Instrumentation. This requirement is intended for award to: Southeast Pathology Instrument Service under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 811219, small business size standard: $20.5 million. Performance period is 10/1/2017-9/30/2018. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes. However, the government will consider all responses received within 3 days of publication (on/before September 11, 2017 COB). A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
