Set-Aside Code: __NA__ 6. Response Date: 9/21/2017 7. Place of Performance: US Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground Adelphi Contracting Division Army Research Laboratory, 321 Colleran Road, MD 21005 8. Description: The United States Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.501(a); Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, based on Experimental Continuity and Proprietary concerns. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with American Ordnance LLC, Iowa Army Ammunition Plant, 17575 Highway 79, Middletown, IA 52638-9700 for supply of the procurement of forty (40) AC-14 Warheads. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government does not intend to use Part 12 for this acquisition.
