- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) intends to award a sole source contract award to Evoqua Water Technologies, 10 Technology Drive, Lowell, MA 01851. The period of performance for contract award will be from October 1, 2017 through September 30, 2022. This requirement is to provide all necessary labor, materials and service for the ELGA PureLab Water Purification System for the Syracuse VA Medical Center, 800 Irving Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13210-2716. The service maintenance plan will include/ but not be limited to, scheduled preventive maintenance, inspect/record data lab point of use, maintain/replace ultra violet lamp, parts replacement lab point of use, site visit service, sanitization maintenance lab point of use, perform and replace prefilter maintenance and ultrafilter cartridge as recommended/required by manufactures procedures. The contractor must have the skills, certification, and experience to be qualified to provide full service preventative maintenance on the ELGA water purification system. Certifications and/or training records may be requested. Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by September 15, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. (ET). Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to Kimberly.wiatrowski@va.gov. Telephone requests or inquires will not be accepted.
