- Subject: Repair Cummins 500kv Generator at Main Interior Building. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is D17PS00919 and is a Request for Quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-94, 2005-95 dated 01-19-2017. This is not a small business set-aside. Line Item 00010: Repair Generator1EA$______________________ Description of requirements for the items to be acquired: Repair is needed on the 500kva Cummins powered diesel stand-by generator. Date(s) and place(s) of delivery and acceptance and FOB point: Date of award plus 30 days to deliver and install at the Stuart Lee Udall (Main Interior Building - MIB) located at 1849 C Street, NW, Washington, DC 20240. The following provisions apply: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ¿ Commercial with the addenda can be found in Attachment 1: Instructions to offerors. FAR 52.212-2 applies with the following: The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Technical and Price. This requirement is being solicited using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, no relative importance is required to be disclosed. FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items must be completed and returned with the offer, unless the vendor ¿s SAM is current. If so, the offeror must state so in their quote. See Attachment 1: Instructions to offerors. 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition with the addenda found in Attachment 2 Contract Terms and Conditions 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition with the following clauses checked. 52.204-10; 52-209-6; 52.219-4: 52.219-28; 52.222-3; 52.222-19; 52.222-21; 52.222-26; 52.222-36; 52.222-50; 52.223-11; 52.223-15; 52.223-18; 52.223-20; 52.223-21; 52.233-2; 52.222-41; 52.222-42; and 52.222-55. A site visit is scheduled for 9/12/17 at 1:00 p.m. ET at the Main Interior Building located at 1849 C Street, NW, Washington, DC. We will meet at the "C" Street entrance, please plan on arriving 15 minutes early to ensure processing through security by the requisite time.
