Description

The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), intends to solicit and award a sole source, hybrid Purchase Order with firm fixed-price and time-and-material contract line items, under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to Design and Production, Inc. (D&P) located at: 7110 Rainwater Place, Lorton, VA 22079-1521, to purchase on-site: 1) Bi-Monthly (twice per month) Preventative Maintenance Exhibit Technical Systems 2) Monthly Preventative Maintenance Exhibit Structures; and 3) Additional Services. A Justification for other than full and open competition will be prepared in accordance with FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii). Period of performance: A 12-month Base Year, plus four 12-month option years. The resultant purchase order will include the following: Line item 0001, Base Year: Bi-Monthly (twice per month) Preventative Maintenance Exhibit Technical Systems in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS); Unit of Issue: Month; Quantity: 12. Line item 0002, Base Year: Monthly Preventative Maintenance Exhibit Structures in accordance with the PWS; Unit of Issue: Month; Quantity: 12. Line item 0003, Base Year: Additional Services; Unit of Issue: Not-to-Exceed; Quantity: $20,000.00. Line item 0004, Option Year I: Bi-Monthly (twice per month) Preventative Maintenance Exhibit Technical Systems in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS); Unit of Issue: Month; Quantity: 12. Line item 0005, Option Year I: Monthly Preventative Maintenance Exhibit Structures in accordance with the PWS; Unit of Issue: Month; Quantity: 12. Line item 0006, Option Year I: Additional Services; Unit of Issue: Not-to-Exceed; Quantity: $20,000.00. All responses must be received in this office not later than 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time on September 18, 2017, in order to be considered. Anticipated award date is September 27, 2017.
