- N0016417SNC38 - REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI)/SOURCES SOUGHT - Radio Frequency and Electrical Cables - FSC 6150 - NAICS 335999 Issue Date: 11 SEP 2017 - Closing Date: 22 SEP 2017 - 2:00 PM EST The Government is issuing this RFI/sources sought announcement as part of market research for radio frequency (RF) cables and electrical cables. Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division is seeking information from companies that have the capability and facilities to manufacture and test RF cables and electrical cables for a variety of radar systems, including AN/SPS-49, AN/SPS-48E, AN/SPQ-9B, and AN/SPS-67(V)3/5. Responses should include historical evidence of manufacturing and testing RF cables and/or electrical cables for the same or similar radar systems referenced above, historical evidence of manufacturing and testing RF cables and/or electrical cables based on a provided drawing package, or, if no historical evidence exists, provide explicit details of the ability to provide equipment, parts, materials, facilities, and labor necessary to manufacture and test RF cables and/or electrical cables. All interested small businesses in NAICS 335999 are encouraged to submit company and product literature, a white paper no longer than 2 pages in 10-point Times New Roman font (single line spacing), and/or other pertinent information. Responses to the Market Survey shall include the following: Submitter's Name Street Address, City, State, Zip Code Business Size and Socio-economic Status Point of Contact (POC) POC Telephone Announcement Number: N0016417SNC38 Contractors must be properly registered in the Government System for Award Management database (SAM). Contractors may obtain information on SAM registration and annual confirmation of requirements by calling 1-866-606-8220, or via the internet at www.sam.gov. At the current time, NO FUNDING IS AVAILABLE for contractual efforts. This RFI/sources sought does not constitute an Invitation for Bids (IFB), a Request for Quote (RFQ), or a Request for Proposal (RFP) and it should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the government to issue a formal solicitation or ultimately award a contract. The US Government is in no way liable to pay for or reimburse any companies or entities that respond to this announcement. Any costs incurred by interested companies in response to this announcement will NOT be reimbursed.
