- Description
- Pallet Drawing Technical Specifications 2031ZA17N00017 (Request for Information) The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is a component of the Department of the Treasury that designs, engraves, and prints U.S. banknote currency and other U.S. security products. Banknote currency manufacturing occurs at BEP's Washington, DC Currency Facility (DCF) located in Washington, DC and Western Currency Facility (WCF) located in Fort Worth, TX. BEP's primary customer is the Federal Reserve Board (FRB). The Bureau seeks sources that can provide FRB currency pallets. These six-legged pallets are used for shipping currency to the U.S. Federal Reserve Banks from both currency facilities. See Draft Technical Specifications and Pallet Drawing for more information.
