- N00164-18-Q-0001 -RESTRICTED COMPETITION- PTP700 SERIES RADIOS, FIPS 140-2 and 256 BIT AES ENCRYPTION, AND OVER THE AIR REKEYING - FSC 5820 - NAICS 334220 Issue Date: 17 OCT 2017 - Closing Date: 17 NOV 2017 - 02:00 PM EST RESTRICTED COMPETITION PROCUREMENT - Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane intends to award a firm fixed price contract for 40 each PTP700 series Cambium radios, 40 each FIPS 140-2 and 256 Bit AES Encryption, and 40 each Over the Air Rey keying in support of the Ground Based Operational Surveillance System (G-BOSS). This requirement will be negotiated on a brand name only basis with Cambium Networks, 3800 Golf Rd. STE 360, Rolling Meadows, IL, 60008-4021, or any of their authorized distributors in accordance with Statutory Authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) only one responsible source and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This acquisition uses a brand-name description to specify a particular brand name product to one manufacturer. Duplication of cost and unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency requirement through any other source would impact the mission. This solicitation is being posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/. FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopses and solicitations to the internet. Please feel free to use the FBO site to access information posted by NSWC Crane Interested parties can download the solicitation from the website listed above. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. Reference the above solicitation number when responding to this notice. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. However, a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Contractors must be properly registered in the Government System for Award Management database (SAM). Contractors may obtain information on SAM registration and annual confirmation of requirements by calling 1-866-606-8220, or via the internet at www.sam.gov. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted via FedBizOpps. It is the responsibility of the interested vendors to monitor the FedBizOpps site for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
