Description

The NAVFAC Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center, Port Hueneme, CA intends to award a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed-Price contract to procure ForeScout �CounterAct � (brand name) IT hardware appliances and services with Thundercat Technology, Inc. to install, configure, test IT appliances; and provide training at the Commander, Naval Installations Command (CNIC) Security Operations Center (SOC). The authority for the use of this sole source (including brand name) is derived from 41 USC 1901 and is implemented under FAR 13.501(a). ThunderCat Technology, a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concern, is the current service provider and has in-depth knowledge of the CNIC SOC systems infrastructure and architecture. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation will be made available. Any responses received will only be considered for the purposes of determining the market place for future procurements. The Government will not pay for information submitted. This will be the only notice of the Governments intent to solicit, negotiate, and award to one source to satisfy this requirement.
