- Description
- The Family Advocacy Program Educator Contractor (hereafter referred to as FAP Educator) works independently in providing technical assistance and support to the IMCOM-Europe G9 ACS on all Family Advocacy related administrative functions, issues, projects and activities. The FAP Educator is an Action Officer for issues concerning or impacting strategic directions for healthy and safe community environments, and community preventive services that promote healthy families and risk reduction and may work with other staff sections or commands in the completion of stated functions. The FAP Educator also synchronizes and supports execution of family wellness promotion programs in support of improving the health and well-being of Soldiers, Army Civilians and Families while maximizing Army Readiness and the reduction of abuse in families. The FAP Educator reviews and standardizes policies and procedures, command briefings, and provider training as it relates to their stated duties. The individual monitors, documents and follow-up on all out of home child abuse/neglect cases; coordinates with IMCOM-E Child and Youth Services, Department of Defense Dependent Schools on Family Advocacy issues.
