- This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.101(a)(1) requiring synopsizing of required contract actions in the Government Point of Entry (GPE). This is a notice of intent to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract for Underground Utility Locating Services. This announcement is not a solicitation. A written solicitation will be posted within 10 days of this notice, http://www.fbo.gov. The Government intends to award a single Indefinite Delivery requirements type contract on a Firm-Fixed Price bases. The solicitation will include a base year plus four (4) one-year options. The solicitation number is W56ZTN-17-R-0009. The solicitation will be a small business set-aside for North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 561990. The Performance Work Statement (PWS) will be included with the solicitation. Technical and certification requirements will be included in the solicitation. Award will be made based on the evaluation of Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable source selection process. All interested and certified offerors are invited to respond to the solicitation. Offerors are required to be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) under NAICS code 561990. Registration can be accomplished at https://www.sam.gov. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION.
