- Description
- In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) anticipates awarding a modification to existing Warehousing and Distribution Services Contract SP3300-12-C-5001 on a sole source basis to Wolverine Services LLC; to manage and execute efficient and effective receiving, storage, inventory, packaging, Care of Supplies in Storage (COSIS), stock control, stock selection, issue processing, packing, shipping, and distribution of repair parts and secondary items in support of on-base, local, and worldwide customers at DLA Distribution Barstow, CA, for a two (2) month period (1 November 2017 -31 December 2017) pursuant to FAR 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services. Due to unanticipated acquisition process delays, it has become necessary to modify existing contract SP3300-12-C-5001 to allow for uninterrupted Warehousing and Distribution Services through 31 December 2017. Pursuant to the exception under FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii), only Wolverine Services LLC is capable of providing the services at this time; award to any other source will result in unacceptable delays and cause a disruption to DLA Distribution Barstow, CA activities. The modification to current contract SP3100-12-C-5001 will serve as a temporary solution to fulfill immediate mission requirements. The J&A for this extension services will be posted as part of this notice once executed. This is not a solicitation for proposals or an invitation for bids. The Government does not anticipate receiving responses to this notice of a non-competitive action.
