Description

Statement of Work: Item: Eaton UPS system maintenance and inspection Description of Service Provided: Vendor will provide a factory authorized technician to perform the annual inspection of the Fargo campus UPS systems. This system serves the computer system at the medical center. This consists of the following uninterruptible power supplies: Eaton Model # 9355-30 S/N EB382KXX12 Eaton Model # 9355-30 S/N EB382KXX27 Eaton Model # 9355-30 S/N BF396KXX23 Philips Model G8000 S/N 99025165 Service requirement: 1. Provide one (1) scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) check per year during the term of this agreement as described herein. A fifteen (15) day advance notice will be given to schedule PM services. Maintain the computer support equipment in peak operating condition and furnish preventative maintenance service during normal working hours (8:00am to 5:00pm) Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Preventative maintenance which includes the general inspection, battery maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, and adjustment of the UPS equipment. 2. Furnish on-caII emergency telephone assistance twenty four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week. 3. Provide unscheduled on-call remedial maintenance within eight (8) hours (8:00am-5:00pm) five days a week, excluding holidays, following notification that the computer support equipment is inoperative. Provide maintenance material, tools, documentation, diagnostic and test equipment necessary for the maintenance services described herein. The contractor shall bear the cost of labor, travel and expenses provided under this agreement for maintaining the specified equipment in good operating condition, when such labor is required because of normal wear and tear. The contractor shall make prior arrangements with the VA for any service that requires shutting down the entire system. The contractor will replace the batteries in the Eaton models only at the end of the five year period. Battery Update (One time only at beginning of contract): Vendor will remove spent batteries, install (12) new battery trays #P-103000933, and provide proper EPA disposal of spent batteries. This includes freight, labor and expenses. Work to be performed during normal business hours M-F. This consists of the following uninterruptible power supplies: Eaton Model 9355-30 S/N EB382KXX27 Eaton Model 9355-30 S/N EB382KXX12 The C&A requirements do not apply and a security accreditation is not required.
