- IGF::OT::IGF NIDCR has previously contracted a pilot study to investigate whether AAV2-NRTN gene therapy can protect the salivary gland function in irradiated Yucatan minipigs. NIDCR needs to use lower doses of AAV2-NRTN in the minipig model of salivary gland irradiation damage and extend the length of analysis from 14 weeks to 24 weeks.
