Sources Sought: VA255-17-N-0453 The VA St. Louis Health Care System requires furnishings as listed below or equal This is Sources Sought Notice is issued for information and planning purposes only. This is not a solicitation or a request for proposal. An award will not be made on offers received in response to this notice, and it shall not be implied the Government is committed to providing any solicitation or award following this notice. The Government will not pay for any information received in response to this request, nor will the Government compensate a respondent for any costs incurred in developing information provided. Responses shall be submitted by 5:00 pm EST on Wednesday, Sep 27th, 2017. This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential vendors, including Small Business, Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB), and Service-Disabled Veteran-Own Small Business (SDVOSB) vendors. Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 15 (NCO15) is seeking responses to this request for information from interested, capable firms that can meet the requirements set forth below; The Saint Louis, MO. VAMC requires to obtain new metal, free standing work stations with lockable overhead storage with privacy screen/tack board, task lights and laminate work surfaces plus related additional metal office furnishings, as listed below and must meet all federal, state &VA safety requirements. Vendors shall provide all equipment and accessories, installation, and shall provide all tools, equipment and labor necessary. All Offerors of equal products shall include equipment brochures which clearly defines the equal product or offer will not be considered. Any information submitted by an offeror for consideration will not be returned and will remain the property of the VA. All costs associated with submitting the above are the responsibility of the Contractor and all information provided must be submitted to the Contracting Officer. This will include but not be limited to all fittings, couplers, brackets and adapters and are included in the contract once awarded. All goods used as part of fulfilling this contract shall be new, unused and produced from current production components and shall be delivered, ready for use. Unless specifically superseded by parts description specification, and specifically acknowledged by the VA, goods shall include all components and accessories listed by the manufacturer as standard and included in the contract. The furnishings specified will meet the technical specification as stated. Environmental Considerations All furniture should comply with current federal and agency sustainability requirements. In accordance with Executive Orders 13101 and 13123, preference will be given to products with beneficial environmental characteristics. This may include but not be limited to recycled content, limits on volatile organic compound emissions (VOC), energy efficiency, and recyclability, rapidly renewable and bio-based materials. Information on the environmental characteristics of offered products, including certifications if any, shall be provided to the VA.
